Bahaar
‘Bahaar’ is a Persian word meaning Spring , symbolic of hope and new beginnings and it is a collection inspired by the imperfect geometry, delicate florals and calming colours of nature. The pandemic has had us all confined to home and this collection is born of a yearning for natures nurture. It references the story of a garden nymph traipsing through an abundant, beautiful garden. The silhouettes are free-flowing and fluid juxtaposed with some structured elements. Fabrics are an interplay of sheer and opaque embellished in tones of silver, gold and antique gold in floral motifs. Colours are emerald, rose pink, sunlit yellow, and beige with pops of brightly coloured thread embroideries.
