About the label
TISHA is an eponymous, homegrown luxury fashion label that explores innovative design stories based on Indian heritage, indigenous crafts, local arts & objects, handloom textiles and handcrafted embroideries and finishes. It draws on the unique aspects of India's eclectic sartorial traditions of draping and handmade textiles tempered with a contemporary perspective as well as global cultural influences to create timeless ensembles that are relevant to the lives of modern Indian women across the world.
We collaborate directly with an ever-expanding and diverse community of weavers / karigars across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh to create ensembles that uphold, nurture & innovate upon heritage craft practices.

About the designer
Tisha Saksena’s design vocabulary is an amalgamation of her lived experiences across India. Having grown up in different parts of the country, Tisha’s design aesthetic celebrates diverse indigenous textiles, clothing, crafts and cultural experiences she absorbed in various Indian states and is balanced with her acquired western technical skills of impeccable construction, draping and finish.
The designer found her footing in fashion during a short stint at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi while simultaneously pursuing a Masters degree in English Literature at Delhi University. She went on to acquire a postgraduate degree in Fashion Design at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), Los Angeles, USA and began her foray into designing at international high street brands Ella Moss, Splendid, and Bebe in Los Angeles. She later worked with designers Shantanu & Nikhil, Instyle Exports and as a consultant luxury fashion stylist with Genesis Luxury Pvt Ltd in New Delhi, India before founding her own label TISHA.
